December, strange time to think of the garden?
Not really, here in south east Texas the temp today was a balmy 73 degrees, but we are expecting lows in the 30′s tonight. So we mulched some leaves and put them on the compost pile. Did a little garden planning and fed a whole mess of chickens. By the way 2 chicks hatched today , possibly several more tomorrow, we have a very broody cuckoo maraan sitting on eggs. We also have a muscovy hen sitting on a clutch…. we’ll keep you posted.. So until the last frost date we plot about the plot heheheh couldn’t resist.

Maybe you could edit the blog name title
December, strange time to think of the garden? | HomeGrownVegetables to something more catching for your webpage you write. I enjoyed the post nevertheless.
