Corn Smut or in Mexico, Huitlacoche.
Picked a few ears of corn the other day and look what I found!
I checked this out on Wikipedia It appears that here in the states , this is a problem to be eliminated. In Mexico, its a delicacy. Needless to say , I didn’t eat it, we fed it to the pigs. Quite an eye opener, and it looks cool too.
The pigs liked it!
