Home Grown Vegetables

I saw this infographic about vegetable gardening in the UK and I wondered what the numbers would look like here in the states, So come on folks let me know what your gardening habits are and if these numbers hold up here in the states.
I know my wife and I love the time in the garden together, and we grow because we have the room and we enjoy the fresh home grown vegetables we produce, sometimes if we have some any left over we sell and give away extra, along with canning and freezing enough to last us when the not so fresh food from the market is here.

Looking at the data for the UK , there seems to be an upward trend as far as home grown gardening, from what I can tell the same holds true here, I can’t back that up with scientific data, but get on Google and see how many gardening web sites you find, especially geared towards vegetables and growing your own!
